DEPARTMENT OF HOME SCIENCE

To inculcate scientific temperament amongst the youth, UKV College offers UG courses in Arts,Home Science and PG courses in Home Science. The Department of Home Science streams is engaged in since 1991. In the developing  Home Science scenario, The Department started PG courses ,M.Sc.Home Science in 2001 and such as Six month certificate course Computer aided interior design  in 2010.The Department also provides Research facility in Home Science. UKV Mahila college  has well equipped Laboratories . 

 

Bachelor of Science in Home Science  B.Sc.(Home Science) 

 

Eligibility:  10+2 / Arts/Science/Commerce students Inter passed Science students who have secured pass class marks are eligible for admission. SC/ST and O.B.C. (non-creamy layer) students are eligible for admission on minimum pass marks. If seats remain empty general students with minimum pass marks will be given admission as per rules of the state government.
