UDISHA CLUB, CAREER COUNSELING AND STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICE & PLACEMENT CELL
The Career Guidance and Placement cell of the college is actively organizing many events for the students .The cell primarily aims at obtaining the best possible placements to the final year students, and, equally, making them aware of the higher education options available to them in various subjects. The cell has identified certain areas, which have a lot to do with the campus selections, and training is imparted according to the formulated programs. Trainings on soft skills, group discussions, how to face interview etc. are being conducted on regular basis. Master trainers from outside are also invited to campus for giving training to our students on various skills so as to empower them in attaining better placements. The Career Guidance and Placement Cell helps students to prepare for suitable careers. The Cell conducts workshops and programmes on career orientation, higher study options, self-employment, entrepreneurship management etc. The Cell has a well-equipped career Library with useful books and periodicals. Experienced resource persons give career counselling to students.To cater to their all round development and well being of lady students, a Women’s Cell is at work which urges to think that each woman has to shine out as a light unto herself and unto the world around her. To empower and equip them with confidence and strength of character, plans and programmes are chalked out and effectively implemented.

Coaching centre for Civil Service, UPSC, PSC, Bank PO, Public Sector, TAT, TET, NET, SET, UGC-CSIR, JRF, and all major competitive examinations.
Human Resource Development Training
The college provides a Foundation programme for integral development as part of the curriculum. The course content is spead over a year and the duration is four credits. Certificates are issued towards the completion of the course.
Computer Labs for B.A.,B.Sc.,M.Sc.Home Science which mostly concentrate on regular curriculum, research and project work. Short term diploma courses are also conducted. Courses such as MS Word / MS Excel/ MS Power point / Internet are offered by the College .
Computer courses are given to the students during working days and holidays from 7:30 am to 12 am and 5 pm to 6 pm and also at free hours for the practicals.
The language laboratory is of the ‘Listen-Respond-Record-Compare-Monitor-Inter Communicate type, conforming to international specifications of performance and features. Its use of two independent cassette mechanisms makes the system more versatile. The language laboratory system consists of 25 student stations, master console with stereo recording facility, CD player, cassette players, micro phones on gooseneck stand, recording units, headphones and speaker boxes. Audio cassettes and CD ROMs produced by the BBC improve the speech and pronunciation of students. The lab is supervised by the department of English. It provides short term course on Spoken English.
